Fair price, tasty meat, atmospheric.

As an American on Thanksgiving I came for the turkey dinner. It was better than nothing, but not a great example of a traditional Thanksgiving meal. But the food was excellent regardless, and in typical Thanksgiving tradition, I ate too much. New York steak was amazing!

Friendly stuff, steaks are delicious as well as the beverages. Relaxing atmosphere, popular both with locals and foreign guests. You can also take away the meat steak to cook it at home. Would I go there again? Definitely yes!

While some "Oligarchy" steak houses may be arguably better, your marginal benefit is extremely small when you consider you're paying 2-3 times as much as Sam's. That's not to say the steaks here aren't good, they're great, they have many high quality cuts that can go toe to toe with some of the most posh venues in the city. I would go to Sam's 4 or 5 times before returning to splurge at another "Oligarchy" venue. They deserve 5 stars for this in my book.

One of the best stake houses in Kiev. Great selection of stakes, and they cook them in keeping with roast level standards. Deserts are delicious as well. Unfortunately, it takes time to get there. But if you don't mind walking, I guess it is fine.

The place with a unique atmosphere. I'm in love with the blue door that amazes me with the first view. The music enhances the feeling of comfort. Prices are higher than ”the average” restaurant in Kiev, but they have insurance and wardrobe and enough place for each client, whereby the price is so high.

We had the most wonderful Master class session with a very skilled chef in beautiful surroundings. We cooked a wonderful meal, enjoyed the atmosphere and the professional attention of both chef, sommelier and waitresses. We highly recommend the Master class experience in this wonderful restaurant.

Food taste good but my pork ribs were cold. Not warm, they were cold. Cheesecake was good though. Probably won't return. Sorry.

Great stakes with great vine selection. Suggest to try the Chateaubriand stake with Malbec red vine what is available by glass too. In case you are open for some experiment, try the beafsteak Tatar, what is sliced and not grounded, but interesting to try and very delicious. Just fantastic gastronomic experience. Bit hard to park, but worth it. The theme is little rock and roll with the pictures on the wall. Complimentary WiFi also available

Excellent value business lunch

Very good food and excellent service. There was a dessert making class going on when I was here that looked like it would be a lot of fun. The rib eye that I had could have been seasoned a little more, but besides that, I have no complaints. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to have a nice steak dinner. Very moderately priced as well.

Cosy place with regular steakhouse prices. Excellent service. Virgin Mary is delicious, the combination of sweet potato fries and cherry sauce is to die for!

Steakhouse without steaks! We ordered a steak, they didn't have it. We ordered an alternative kind which we like less... They also didn't have! Then they tried to sell us the American versions which are even more expensive than here in West European restaurants. Outrageous prices for Ukraine. I wouldn't be surprised if they were going to serve us Ukrainian steaks at the price of exclusive American import. Presumably they tried to scam us because we are tourists. I suggest to avoid this place. It's a steakhouse... How can they not have steaks? They only had the ribeye and 1 other inferior type, which we don't like. So maybe they should change the name into Sam's chunk-of-fat-house. We stood up and left!

Food is delicious, service is very nice. The place is well decorated. Desert was 3/5(cheese cake). I would visit again.

Starters were excellent and well presented. Unfortunately the meat was overcooked. We asked for medium and got well done. But the service was very nice and as an apology for the meat we got a free desert ;)

There are not much places where you can taste really good meat, especially steak. Sam's Steak House is one of such places. The main problems you can meet cooking steak are: the meat is too dry, non-jucy, rubber, tasteless. These are definitely NOT about Sam's Steak House. The meat here is really tasty. The menu is pretty wide - the steak choice is large and there are a lot of meals besides steaks like hamburgers, salads and many more.

Great steak house with local and imported aged meat

Outstanding experience with top quality ingredients and desserts to die for.

I went in on a very quiet Monday night and had Ukrainian ribeye with young potatoes, and mixed grilled veggies. Overall, very reasonable for the cost. Bar was quiet and I felt a bit awkward with no other patrons in house but food was good and their are only so many hotel sandwiches you can stomach. Recommended for dinner if your in the area.

Nice place. Kids friendly. More on the expensive side, but not too much. Very friendly and attentive waiters.
